The Donut Man (Part Two)

I was cautious about writing another post on the Donut Man, but since I was in the area last week I felt I had to give an update.

Generally, this place is known for their donuts and late hours. In particular, they are recognized for their strawberry and peach filled donuts. If you are curious on how they look, view my first post on the place.

Surprisingly, when I was in the area I found out they were also known for another donut they serve: Tiger tail. I did not know much about it, but my friend searched the place and said this is a must have donut when fresh. Without any arguing, I thought we had to try it out.

After 20 minutes of driving from our hotel, we arrived to the place. Not knowing what these donuts looked like, we decided to wait in line and scope out the windows. Thankfully after letting a few people cut in front of us, we overhear the place say they had some tiger tails  fresh and ready within five minutes. Immediately after hearing, we get back in line and order four of those suckers.

When we first got them, we did not know what to make out of them. They basically looked like a twisted out version of a glazed donuts with chocolate stripes. Regardless, they smelled very good.

After getting back to our hotel and settling in, we finally bit into these bad boys. To my surprise, they were soft and not too sugary. From the looks I was worried the sugar would be too strong. However, these donuts were instead glazed perfectly. The chocolate parts were not too strong either. They obviously give a taste, but it did not take away from the whole donut. As a result, I was very pleased with our decision to get these late at night.

Similarly, to my last post on the Donut Man. I would definitely recommend this place to people. However, instead of only recommending their fan favorite strawberry or peach filled donuts. I now also recommend their tiger tails.
